SWFLYAS MEETING NEWS - November 2003 Press release and member announcement for The Southwest Florida Young Anglers’ Society Greetings Members and Friends, The SW FL Young Angler's Society held it's November Meeting on the 6th.  This month we welcomed Assistant Park Manager Peter Krulder of Lovers' Key State Park.   We were shown the finer arts of cast netting, identification and targeting bait fishes.  This very interesting and interactive discussion and demonstration was taken to the lot outside.  There the members were given cast nets to practice what they had just learned.  The young anglers were given hands on, step by step instruction by Mr. Krulder.   Once shown the proper way to position the net and position their feet, the young anglers were throwing the nets 'just like the pros'.  Ranger Krulder even showed some of us old salty dogs how to throw the net without gripping it in your teeth.  Hats off to Assistant Park Manager Peter Krulder!
